The Global Majority Network presents: In conversation with Black leaders from across the charity sector

The Global Majority Network had their inaugural event, which was an online panel discussion bringing together three inspirational Black Charity Leaders.

The resurgence of the Black Lives Matter Movement brought to the forefront the issues of racism within the charity sector that is dominated by white leaders.

As organisations work to turn commitments into action, panellists shared their experience of navigating the sector as people of colour. They spoke about their leadership journey, the challenges they have faced and continue to meet and shared some advice for others seeking to succeed in the sector.

The Global Majority Network brings together representatives from various Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic staff and volunteer networks within the UK charity sector.
