Sectoral entry points for mental health and wellbeing

Mental health and wellbeing care is crucial to the success of your organisation.

Following the publication of the DFID/FCDO “Approach to Mental Health and Psychosocial Support”, and the practical” Topic Guide for Development Professionals”, we were requested to put together a briefer, more accessible summary of how different sectoral technical groups in FCDO (and other agencies) could approach integration of mental health and wellbeing into their work.

The result is a set of “Sectoral Entry Points” for various areas of work, ranging from education to private sector, and gender to infrastructure. We hope you will find these helpful in the process of increasingly integrating mental health and wellbeing considerations into wider development work.
