Bond and Russell-Cooke launch new partnership to offer legal support to charities and NGOs

Today, Wednesday 16 April, Bond is pleased to announce a new partnership with law firm, Russell-Cooke, to provide legal support and guidance to NGOs and charities.

Russell-Cooke is recognised as one of the leading law firms advising charities and not-for-profits in the UK. The charity law and not for profit team advises hundreds of charities in the UK on governance issues, mergers and restructurings, HR and employment, fundraising, data protection, property disputes and transactions, as well as international structures and charity regulation including Charity Commission investigations.

Over the next year, Bond and Russell-Cooke will host a range of events and share engaging content with updates and legal support for NGOs on the changing legislation around fundraising, charity employment law and working with the Charity Commission.

Speaking about the partnership, Bond’s Director of Membership and Communications, Michael Wright said:

We’re excited to partner with Russell-Cooke who will be providing their expertise to help inform NGOs on essential legal insights and updates. Through a range of events and engaging content, organisations will be equipped to navigate legal frameworks and regulation, from fundraising law to charity employment and governance.

Carla Whalen, partner in Russell-Cooke’s charity law and not for profit team, said:

Russell-Cooke is delighted to be partnering with Bond to provide specialist legal updates on issues affecting NGOs working in international development.
