Susan Hawley is the executive director of Spotlight on Corruption, and co-chair of a UK coalition of anti-corruption organisations. Previously she was founder and policy director at Corruption Watch UK for ten years, having previously worked at the Corner House on corruption issues, and in the policy team at Christian Aid on ethics and corruption issues.
She was behind the successful judicial review by the Corner House of the Export Credit Guarantee Department (ECGD) for weakening new anti-bribery rules following secret lobbying by defence and aerospace companies, and is an expert on enforcement and implementation of UK anti-corruption laws.
