Steve works with a variety of charities, with a particular focus on international charities, service delivery charities and education-related charities.
In addition to statutory audit, Steve has assisted clients in a wide range of areas including financial due diligence, reviews of overseas country offices and other reviews in a wide variety of areas including internal audits.
Steve has spoken at a wide variety of events including haysmacintyre seminars and the Civil Society NGO Insight conference. He has had articles published on a variety of topics including donor audit pitfalls, cost recovery and budgeting for not for profits. Steve leads engagement with international charities – he runs a seminar programme for international charities, and he is the editor of the International Charity Financial Benchmarking Report.
Steve is a trustee and treasurer of two charities which brings a wider perspective and empathy with the sector to his work.
