Seema is a Senior Programme Manager at GlobalGiving, where she supports nonprofit partners driving community-led change globally. She plays a key role in shaping philanthropic responses to disasters and crises, leading fund management efforts that put local voices and needs at the heart of recovery. Previously, Seema worked on supporting community-led humanitarian innovation, focusing on putting people affected by crises at the centre of humanitarian response. She also worked in global health, concentrating on sustainable solutions for micronutrient malnutrition and investing in research and community-led innovations for prevention of acute malnutrition. Seema has a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Penn and a master’s degree in global health from London School of Economics.
