Marijke Priester worked in academia and politics in The Netherlands before switching to a career as a development practitioner in CSOs (a.o. OxfamNovib, Rutgers). She particularly served as a manager in international and strategic partnerships. Now she is an independent advisor and mentors young professionals. With Mohammed Awal Alhassan she published on Southern leadership in international development programming.
