Lucía Domínguez is an international development and humanitarian emergencies post-graduate student at LSE and has recently worked in several NGOs, notably Amref Health Africa and Manos Unidas where she was a monitoring and evaluation assistant in development projects concerned around children’s access to free and quality education and women’s empowerment through micro-credits and CCTs. She is currently working at Praxis as a social media, communications, and advocacy intern, helping create social media content to communicate Praxis’ work and further its public campaigns. Her primary area of interest revolves around challenging the role of media and the ways in which it represents – and shapes through certain narratives – humanitarian emergencies and vulnerable populations.
