Kathy is co-head of the Centre for Collective Intelligence Design at Nesta. In 2011, Kathy was named one of the top 40 most influential international development leaders under 40 by sector website Devex.
She has held senior management roles in both the domestic and international non-profit sector, including director of communications and external Affairs at Healthwatch England, head of campaigns and social change at the disability charity Scope, and head of external affairs at international volunteering charity VSO.
She led the successful UK campaign for the creation of a dedicated United Nations agency for women, UN Women, and masterminded a cross-sector campaign that helped persuade the Treasury to put an additional £3bn into social care funding.
