Purposeful

Kaata Minah is a passionate afri-feminist activist who firmly believes in the transformative power of feminist education in achieving gender equality. She holds a master’s degree in Gender, Globalisation, and Rights from the University of Galway. She works as an advocacy and programme manager with and for girls at Purposeful, an African-rooted feminist hub.

Kaata leads critical aspected of policy advocacy and feminist political education. Recognising the potential of young people to drive social change, Kaata extends her activism into the academic space by volunteering as a lecturer at the Institute for Gender Research and Documentation (INGRADOC) at the University of Sierra Leone (Fourah Bay College).
