Julia Amoo is a Diversity and Inclusion representative for the Global Programmes Division alongside her day job as the head of business programmes and innovation at Save the Children UK.
Julia was the chair of the Diversity and Inclusion committee which produced Save the Children UK’s first Diversity and Inclusion strategy. The strategy has been praised for its explicit focus on anti-racism in the workplace, shifting the power, localisation and promoting cultural change.
She is part of the Partnership Approaches and POC in development groups at Bond, and a member of the Women of Colour Forum within the Gender and Development Network.
