Franziska is Bond’s head of finance, operations and performance. Franziska is a strategic and people-focused leader, ensuring Bond runs smoothly, efficiently, and sustainably. Working with the CEO and Senior Management Team, Franziska oversees finance, operations, and HR—keeping everything from budgets to people strategy aligned with the organisation’s goals. With a keen eye on financial health and compliance, Franziska manages Bond’s budgeting, risk, and governance while fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture. Prior to that, Franziska supported Bond member organisations in transforming safeguarding practice.
Before joining Bond she was grants manager at Local Trust, overseeing a grant portfolio of £75m and Operations and Partnerships Manager at ALNAP (Active Learning Network for Accountability and Performance in Humanitarian Action). Prior to that Franziska worked in programme management and support roles at ODI and Amnesty International.
