Elisabeth more than 18 years of experience in development and humanitarian assistance in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Elisabeth is currently the Director of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) Office in London. She has served as Country Director of WFP in Bolivia (2016-2019) and WFP Country Director in Guinea (2012-2016).
Elisabeth is also a co-founder of the Humanitarian Women’s Network (HWN). HWN is a grassroots online community comprised of over 6000 women working in the sector. The objective of this group is to fight sexual discrimination, harassment and abuse and make the humanitarian sector a safe environment where humanitarian women can flourish.
