Ekaterina is Head of Impact and Livelihoods at World Jewish Relief. She holds an MBA from London Business School and BSc in Maths and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University. Ekaterina has more than 20 years of international managerial experience in both the corporate and not-for-profit sectors.
She is passionate about enabling African rural young people to join growing global movement of agricultural entrepreneurs who are excited to farm and are prosperous and successful as a result of engaging in modern and knowledge-intense agriculture. She has been awarded two grants from UK Aid Direct to empower Rwandan young people to build sustainable livelihoods and strengthen their communities’ resilience in the face of COVID-19 pandemic.
Ekaterina is also in charge of World Jewish Relief’s flagship employment and entrepreneurial programmes in Ukraine and Moldova. She has been focusing on strengthening local partner organisations’ analytical and learning capabilities to enable programmes’ improvements and knowledge building. Prior to joining World Jewish Relief, Ekaterina was Director of the UK Chapter of an INGO “The Hunger Project” and Project Manager at T-Mobile UK.
