Duarte Pedreira is an experienced banker who has worked in multiple senior roles within relationship management, transactional banking, credit & political risk insurance and advisory. Currently Head of International Development Client Coverage at Crown Agents Bank, Duarte previously worked in senior roles for the Standard Bank Group (both in Angola and South Africa), Caspian Sea Capital and AIG. Aside from his work at Crown Agents Bank, Duarte is currently also a Board Member of the ITFA, the Global Trade Finance Industry Body, where he heads up the Emerging Leaders, Institutional Relations and Africa streams. Duarte is also a keen philanthropist and education enthusiast, focusing on all levels from building schools catering for grassroots education at an early year’s level in Africa, to lecturing to post graduate students at Bayes Business School in London.
