Cornelius brings over 8 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a strong focus on delivering tailored solutions for the NGO and development sectors. Prior to his role at Crown Agents Bank, he served as Head of NGOs at Ebury, a FinTech company specialising in international payments, collections and foreign exchange services.
Throughout his career, Cornelius has collaborated with international NGOs, multilateral organisations, and local development agencies to design innovative strategies that support their global operations. His expertise includes streamlining cross-border payments and improving financial access in emerging and frontier markets.
In addition, Cornelius has experience supporting SMEs and mid-cap businesses with a range of financial products, including trade finance, derivatives, and cash management. He holds a degree in Classical and Historical Archaeology from the University of Sheffield and a master’s degree in American History.
