Beth Saffer joined World Jewish Relief in 2014 as Head of Older People Programmes, focusing on health and social care projects for older Jewish people across Eastern Europe, including a response to the war in Ukraine. She led a multi-country dementia programme, training staff and promoting person-centred care. Beth speaks fluent Russian and holds a BA in Russian Studies from the University of Birmingham.
