Dr. Becky Faith is a deputy leader of the Digital and Technology cluster at IDS. Becky’s professional experience and research interests encompass mobile communication studies, human computer interaction and technology for social change. Becky has fifteen years’ strategic and programme experience working in ICT4D and technology for human rights organisations. Becky’s PhD focused on the use of mobile phones by young women and she has an MSc in Technology Policy and Strategy.
At IDS Becky is currently involved in projects researching gender and technology, the application of Agile approaches to Transparency and Accountability initiatives, and forecasting the impacts of digital technologies for development.
